Recently, a fellow by the name of Don Hayes of Hayes contracting of Duncan expressed the idea, or rather peddled the idea, that exporting of raw logs is good for his business and the community in general.

If possible, I would like to get a group of people, a team if you will, of thinkers who can knowledgeably put down in writing why this is so very wrong. I have some ideas of my own which I have expressed before in the local press and so I would like to put together a group effort that we could submit as an informed rebuttal to the local paper or the T.C. I'm looking for creative writers and especially resourceful people who can dig up hard facts to counter this claim.
