The Wednesday, 07 March 2007 meeting of the Executive Directors was convened at the Riverside Inn Restaurant, Lake Cowichan at 9:00 AM with all Directors but Casey, Dickens, and Weir present.

1. It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the 28 February 2007 meeting as circulated.

2. It was moved and seconded to accept the agenda for today’s meeting ascirculated.

3. The Treasurer reported that member Bertha Gravelle has volunteered to do the annual audit.

4. The Secretary reported email correspondence.

5. Ken reported publication in The Globe and Mail (26 February 2007) of an article based on an interview with reporter Wendy Stueck.

6. Ken reported an invitation from the Western Canada Wilderness Committee to speak at an upcoming Victoria public rally.

7. Discussion about preparation of a YTS mail-out package. Roger will try to put a newsletter together. Ken will investigate the feasibility of enclosing a Ban Raw Log Exports decal.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 AM after the Directors agreed to reconvene at the Riverside Inn Restaurant, Lake Cowichan on Wednesday, 14
March 2007 at 9:00 AM.
