The Wednesday, 04 April 2007 meeting of the Executive Directors was convened at the Riverside Inn Restaurant, Lake Cowichan at 9:00 AM with
all Directors but Casey and Dickens present.

1. It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the 29 March 2007 meeting as circulated.

2. It was moved and seconded to accept the agenda for today’s meeting as circulated.

3. The Treasurer reported current balances and presented a draft Financial Report for 2006. The Audit Committee will report soon.

4. The Secretary reported email correspondence.

The Secretary reported posting copies of the latest TimberLess Times to a list of non-members.

5. Ken reported an invitation from the True Grain Bread Bakery in Cowichan Bay for the YTS to present and participate in an evening of discussion called Taking Back Our Timber on Thursday, 12 April 2007.

6. Discussion about the coming BC Supreme Court of Appeals date for James v. Her Majesty the Queen (Youbou Class Action). The Court will convene at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, 17 April 2007. The address is 850 Burdett Street, Victoria and supporters are welcome to observe.

7. Discussion about the YTS AGM to be held at the Somenos Hall, 3248 Cowichan Valley Highway, Duncan, BC. The meeting starts at 1:00 PM on Sunday, 22 April 2007. Membership in the Society is open to all.

8. Ken reported on the continuing efforts of the Ban Log Exports Coalition and the excellent media coverage. The PPWC is hosting a rally in
Nanaimo at Noon on Monday, 23 April 2007.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 AM after the Directors agreed to reconvene at the Riverside Inn Restaurant, Lake Cowichan on Wednesday, 18
April 2007 at 9:00 AM.
