The Wednesday, 04 July 2007 meeting of the Executive Directors was convened at the Riverside Inn Restaurant, Lake Cowichan at 9:00 AM with
all Directors but Casey, Vermiere, and Weir present. Member K. Dickens attended.

1. It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the 27 June 2007 meeting as circulated.

2. It was moved and seconded to accept the agenda for today’s meeting as circulated.

3. The Treasurer made no report.

4. The Secretary reported email correspondence.

5. Roger reported that the BC Forests Society will host its AGM in Duncan on Tuesday evening, 10 July 2007. YTS representatives will attend.

6. Ken reported on plans to enter the Duncan Parade on Saturday, 14 July 2007. Volunteers are needed for seedling preparation and distribution. Keith has ordered 25 T-shirts with silk-screened YTS logos to help promote this and other events.

7. Roger reported that the PPWC (Local 8) has rescheduled its planned Ban Log Export and Promote Sustainable Forestry Rally to Saturday, 14
July 2007. (Vancouver, Library Square, 350 W. Georgia Street, 1:00 PM)

8. Roger reported the design of a new Great Lake Walk pledge sheet and posting of information to the website. Ken produced laser printed copies of the pledge sheet for fundraising coordinator Richard Weir.

9. Ken reported that there is still no news on the pending Supreme Court decision.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 AM after the Directors agreed to reconvene at the Riverside Hotel Restaurant, Lake Cowichan on Wednesday,
18 July 2007 at 9:00 AM.
