The Wednesday, 29 August 2007 meeting of the Executive Directors was moved to Wednesday, 05 September 2007. All Directors convened at the
Riverside Inn Restaurant, Lake Cowichan at 9:00 AM except for Casey and Weir.

1. It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the 15 August 2007 meeting as circulated.

2. It was moved and seconded to accept the agenda for today’s meeting as circulated.

3. The Treasurer reported current balances.

4. The Secretary reported email correspondence.
The Secretary reported notice for renewal of domain name. (Due 24 November 2007.)

5. Discussion about The Great Lake Walk to be held Saturday, 15 September 2007. Fundraising continues. Pledges will be received by YTS Board members and through the www.savebcjobs.com website.

6. Discussion about the work of Dr. Scott Prudham (University of Toronto). Following his visit there is a consensus that the opportunity for the continued study of former Youbou Sawmill workers is a worthwhile goal.

7. Ken reported that the BC Supreme Court’s ruling on our 17 April 2007 appeal is still pending. Understandably, there is great anticipation by class
members, the media, and the general public.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 AM after the Directors agreed to reconvene at the Riverside Hotel Restaurant, Lake Cowichan on Wednesday,
19 September 2007 at 9:00 AM.
