The February 11, 2009 meeting of the executive directors was convened at the Silver Bridge Restaurant, Duncan with all but Casey and Vermiere present. Members Dickens and Wiles attended

1. It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the last meeting

2. The agenda for today’s meeting was circulated and accepted

3. The treasurer did not report

4. Keith and Chris reported on the meeting in Victoria with the BC Forests Society

· It was a very good meeting and the YTS input was useful

· A separate meeting with Andrew and Harry was suggested after some e-mail correspondence with Keith

5. Ken reported that there has been no further information from Lawyer Joe Arvay

6. Ken up-dated on the planned meeting (think tank) with Professor Scot Prudham

· It will be held on Saturday Feb 21 at 10am-3pm in the Somenos room of the Cowichan Community Centre

· 17 people have confirmed attendance

7. Possible dates for the AGM were discussed and early June appears to be the best time for all to be available

The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 am after directors agreed to meet again on Feb 25 at 9am at the same place
