The March 11, 2009 meeting of the executive directors was convened at the Silver Bridge Restaurant, Duncan with all but Casey present. Member L Vermiere attended.

1. It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the last meeting.

2. The agenda for today’s meeting was circulated and accepted

3. The treasurer reported

4. Several members are planning to attend a “special meeting” of the BC Forest Society

· The meeting will be Monday 16th March from 9:30-
3:30 in Victoria

· The objective is to further the work on the Centennial Project

· There was discussion on how the YTS can best help to get this completed

· There was discussion on the YTS’s role in getting the info to the public

· We will meet at Chris’s at 8:15 and carpool to Victoria. Keith will drive

5. Ken reported no new correspondence from lawyer Arvay

6. Roger reported the ongoing work he is doing with the regional group he is involved with.

· Looking at all factors affecting of our water is crucial

-More public meetings are planned

7. A possible rally was discussed and an April/May date was discussed. Time and place to be confirmed

The meeting was adjourned at 11:00am after directors agreed to meet again on March 25.
