The May 20, 2009 meeting of the executive directors was convened at Smitty’s Restaurant, Duncan with all but Casey and Wier present. Member Lucy Vermiere attended

1. It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the last meeting.

2. The agenda for today’s meeting was circulated and accepted

3. The treasurer reported

a. The audit committee now has the “books” from last year to complete the audit before our AGM in June

4. It was discussed to have another meeting with the Forest Society to see further how we can support each other in our efforts

5. Ken spoke with a member who has some old paperwork (magazines and other publishings) that she would like the YTS to have. Ken to arrange

6. Membership Secretary J Swan and Ken met with Lynne Barge to transfer over the medical information and paperwork. 1st requested package has been sent out.

a. A Huge thanks to Lynne for all her work over the years for the YTS

7. The AGM has been moved to Sunday the 28th due to conflicts with the hall

8. Ken has not had success in obtaining seedlings for the Cowichan Parade

The meeting was adjourned at 11:00am after the directors agreed to meet in 2 weeks
