The August 27th , 2009 meeting of the YTS executive was held at the Silver Bridge Restaurant as 9am. In attendance was K Dickens, Chris Olsen, R and L Vermiere and K James.

1. The agenda for today’s meeting was circulated and passed

2. The treasurer reported

3. Further to the discussion on a group interested in joining our medical… some have now joined

4. Much discussion was held regarding delinquent PBC members

a. It was suggested that all members who are on PBC with us
i. be sent a notice 1 month prior to membership renewal
ii. be made aware of the rules of staying on PBC with YTS
iii. sign an agreement regarding their role to stay in good standing

5. There was discussion about fine-tuning our mission statement regarding our “Trust Forest” initiative and to have it ready to present to like minded groups and First Nations

6. There was discussion around our next newsletter and possible contributions from our members

The meeting was adjourned at 11 am after the directors agreed to meet again on Thursday Sept 3 at 9am, Silver Bridge Restaurant
