The October 8, 2009 meeting of the YTS executive was held at the Silver Bridge Restaurant at 9am. In attendance was K Dickens, C Olson, R Wiles, R Wier, K James and guest Christopher Lyons

1. The agenda for today’s meeting was circulated and passed

2. The Treasurer reported

3. The upcoming newsletter was discussed

4. Discussion about the Christmas party was held

a. The “Important” suit is available to us
b. The “wearer” of the suit is still to be confirmed

5. A meeting with members of Cowichan Tribes is a go and the time is to be confirmed

6. More stickers are to be ordered

7. More hats are to be ordered

8. Chris Lyons, Masters student from U of Alberta is here to study us and our society and plans to conduct personal and group meetings with some of our members and others

a. Meeting on Tuesday evening with Roger, Richard, Dennis and Bonnie
b. Meeting Wednesday with members at the meeting at Ken’s

The meeting was adjourned at 11am after directors agreed to meet again in 2 weeks.
