"The TimberLess Society: Local Logs for Local Jobs” The TimberLess Society seeks to maximize local benefits from BC's forests. We seek a controlled ban on raw log exports so that milling jobs stay in BC. We seek increased community control over forest management so that decisions critical to the future of BC's towns are not made in far-off boardrooms. We believe that an environmental ethic can coexist alongside a work ethic. We will only succeed by building a groundswell of like-minded people. We need you to join us.
