Please find attached a letter and documentation from Don Wright and Bill Dumont regarding the Log Export Review process.

You will see that public submissions are being solicited. The deadline is 15 October 2006 for written submissions. The YTS is contributing and we encourage all community-spirited citizens and organizations to do likewise.

Please advance this package to all those who may be interested in making submissions.

It is important to speak up now about the ruinous impact that log exports have upon community and environment.

LOG EXPORT REVIEW - OCTOBER 15 DEADLINE FOR WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS

Electronic submission is preferred, if that is possible. Written submissions will be made available to the Ministry of Forests and Range and these may, in turn be made available to the public through the provisions in British Columbia’s freedom of information law.
