On Tuesday and Wednesday of next week (27th and 28th) we are doing another logging truck count at the Crofton exit from the Island Hiway. This is part of a week long series of events to bring focus on the needed changes to Log Exports. Minister Coleman is expected to announce his recommendations in the next month and a coalition of union, non-union, environmentalist and concerned other citizens want to make sure the public is aware of what SHOULD be in his release.

We are asking anyone who can spare an hour or 3 of their time to assist us in this count. We will be starting at 6am and going until 5pm. Please contact Ken James at 746-8684 or papa.ken@shaw.ca if you can help out.
