What Are We Up To?
The evolution of our Society “YTS” is ongoing, with the realization that we cannot change the past but we can change the future. To that end the directors are moving the society forward in directions that will emphasize the caring for community and society aspect of our mission statement.

In the past three years we as a society gained the respect of groups from all sides of the political spectrum, and also from those facing or experiencing the same fate as Youbou. These groups are looking to benefit from our experiences and our organization. With interest being shown from different areas of the province, the directors of the Society have researched, and will advise making changes to our constitution and by-laws to cover “Chapters in other areas” at the Annual General Meeting in April 2004.

With one application to start a Chapter pending, and another being anticipated the directors are excited about the direction that the organization is taking in a step from having local “Island” recognition, to a Provincial level. Developments are expected in the next year that we are confident will bolster support for our positions.
